Quyên
A loan of $1,975 helps to buy more cows to raise and then sell.
Quyên's story
Mrs. Quyên, a 43-year-old woman, is married with two children; her eldest is grown, and her younger child, aged 16, is currently attending school. Her family belongs to an ethnic minority and lives in a remote mountainous area in Cẩm Thủy district.
Together with her husband, Mrs. Quyên grows rice and raises a few cattle on a small scale. To make ends meet, they also work as laborers on nearby farms, but their income is barely enough to cover basic needs.
Mrs. Quyên plans to expand their cattle-raising efforts by purchasing additional cows, with the aim of raising them for one to two years before selling them for profit. However, lacking the necessary capital, she is applying for a fourth loan from Thanh Hóa MFI. She hopes that by investing in more cattle, she will be able to improve her family’s income and create a more stable financial future.
