Lu'isa
A loan of $975 helps to buy more mulberry bark for her small tapa making business.
Lu'isa's story
This woman is named Lu'isa. She is married with 6 kids. She joins a group of women in her village once a week, gathering into one of the member's houses to perform whole tapa making. In a day, they make approximately five to six tapa in different sizes and in their own designs. Once a tapa is ready to sell out, they sell it to the local people, but mostly export the tapa overseas for marketing.
Lu'isa makes not only whole tapa, but soft tapa as well, which is easy for her to generate income every week. Once the soft tapa is ready to sell out, she sells it to the members in her group and also to the local people.
This loan will help to empower her small tapa making business by assisting her in buying more mulberry bark that she will mostly use in her tapa making business. From that, she will be able to continue running tapa with no fail.
