Dora Ximena

Dora Ximena's story

52-year-old Dora is a straightforward divorced woman, known by her acquaintances as a hardworking, honest, and responsible woman who has managed to expand and keep her grocery store afloat through help received from the Banco Visionfund Ecuador. The store is located in the the Inmaculada neighbourhood in a room loaned to her by her mother in the house where she lives with her daughter and two grandchildren.

Dora serves her customers in a friendly and courteous way and especially gives a huge smile to each customer as they visit her store. This has made her customers prefer to do their shopping at her store.

Dora wishes to obtain once again financial assistance to buy packages of noodles, boxes of soap, 12.5kg of rice, sugar, bread, trays of chicken, cold meats, and sardines. Then she will stock her store with a greater variety of products, providing her with the opportunity to generate more income so that she can support her daughter and grandchildren as far as God will allow her.
