Sisilia's story
This is Sisilia, she is 30 years of age. She is a single woman who lives with her parents and she will become the breadwinner of her family. This family consists of five members.
Sisilia makes a living for her family from her weaving business. She and her mother join a group of women in her village to perform weaving. They spend three days a week performing weaving. They weave fihu, mats, and taovala in different sizes and styles. The price of their weaving product depends on what size and the style of the product request by the customer.
She said she can earn a good income from her weaving business. Sisilia will use that money to provide for her family, pay their bills and other expenses, and particularly the weekly loan repayment.
This loan's aim is to assist her in buying more pandanus for her weaving. Her dream is to become successful in the future.
