Erick Ariel and his family live in the city of Montecristi, known for making toquilla straw Panama hats and for its varied, internationally renowned craftwork.

He is a very hardworking young man who tries to find a way to earn a living and so meet his expenses while also helping his parents with expenses. This is achieves with the help of loans for which he is very grateful and he asks that people keep helping him. He works selling fruit. He buys apples, grapes, peaches, strawberries, pears, blackberries and other fruits from a wholesaler and on Saturdays and Sundays he goes out to sell them in and around the city of Manta, where he has a large clientele who always buy from him.
