Maria's story
Maria is 53 years old, married and has 3 children. She lives in a rural village in the municipality of Consacá, Nariño Department, in the southwest of Colombia.
She is very active and her goal is to improve and contribute to her household's financial well-being. She has several businesses: for many years, she has been raising pigs, farming coffee and selling bananas.
Maria is requesting a loan of $5,546,100 COP which will be invested in the purchase of fertilizers and sows so that she can increase her production and thus increase her income.
