Priscilla's story
This is 42-year-old Priscilla from Liberia. She lives with her partner and is the mother of four children. Priscilla attended school up to 12th grade. She is a strong business woman who sells rice, beans, vegetable oil, red oil, onions, pepper and Vita. She started her business with some financial help from her partner and has not encountered any problems with her sales. Priscilla sells Monday through Saturday for 9 hours each day.
She is seeking a loan from BRAC Liberia, a Kiva lending partner, to purchase more rice, beans, vegetable oil, red oil, onions, pepper and Vita to sell and generate greater profits. Priscilla enjoys her business because it allows her to take care of her family. In the future, she hopes to buy land, build a house, and open a shop. She is very grateful to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support and would like to say thanks.
