Eulalia Lastenia
A loan of $1,000 helps purchase naranjilla (Luto) seed, organic and chemical fertilizer and fungicides as well as to pay the labor for the preparation of the land.
Eulalia Lastenia's story
Eulalia is 21 years old and lives with her family in the village of Lita, in the province of Imbabura; a sector whose main economic activities are agriculture, commerce and gastronomy.
Eulalia is a very hardworking young woman, who since she was 15 years old has been dedicated to agriculture and raising farm animals: together with her parents she goes out every morning to graze the cattle and visit their agricultural crops. These activities are the sources of income that help sustain her personal expenses, as well as support her home.
Eulalia is requesting a loan to buy naranjilla seed, organic and chemical fertilizer and fungicides as well as to pay the labor to prepare the land and start planting, because according to the agricultural calendar it is a good time for the crops to develop correctly and to obtain a good product that will sell at a good price in the market.
Eulalia is very grateful for the support and trust given to her, since her crops are her main source of income to support her family and provide them with good economic stability.
