Anas's story

Anas is a 32-year-old man who is warm, cheerful, and surrounded by family, and is surprisingly optimistic for someone who has worked so hard his entire life. He's married, lives in a small village in Bauchi, Nigeria, and has always considered himself an entrepreneur. His children occasionally help him out on the farm.

Anas is a Babban Gona farmer and his main problem has been very low income, lack of access to credit. He wants a loan to access quality farm inputs and services to increase his productivity. Anas expects 40 bags per hectare from this year's harvest, double the national Nigerian average of 20 bags per hectare. He plans to reinvest the profits from this harvest into his farm and support his children's education and build a better house for his family, buy books and uniforms for his children. With your help, Anas can afford the high cost of farm inputs necessary for his enterprise. Your loan will go a long way toward changing the life of this smallholder farmer.
