Alcanzando Mta Group's story
From Jinotepe, Nicaragua, meet the association Alcanzando Meta (Reaching Goal), in their 30th cycle, formed by eight clients who are characterized by being organized and hardworking. Their predominant businesses are selling bread, clothes, shoes, tamales, broiler chickens, cosmetics, and tortillas.
Thelma del Carmen (wearing a printed shirt, gray skirt, seated), is 72 years old and has 6 children, all of who are of legal age. Two people live in her house. For 4 years, she has run her business of selling bread and clothes. The challenges she has faced with her business are low sales.
She will use the loan to build a handmade oven and buy a dozen pants for men, children's clothes, and underwear. Her dreams and hopes for the future is to have a thriving business.
She advises women to take advantage of the support Pro-Mujer provides to women to start their own business. Help her continue to achieve her goals!
