A loan of $1,225 helps to buy pig feed and other supplies to raise pigs.
Milton's story
Milton, 45, lives in the la Esperanza neighborhood of the municipality of EL Tambo Nariño with his daughters and his wife. He is a man from the countryside who has worked in livestock production since he was very young. He acquired knowledge in the management of small animals (pigs), and he currently works raising and breeding pigs. He delivers his piglets to the traders who come to his farm, and he takes the fattened pigs to the municipal market. This generates income that he uses to support his household, and enables him to improve his quality of life and that of his family. At this time, his income is constant and stable.
Milton is requesting a loan in the sum of 5,220,000 Colombian pesos to invest in pig feed and other items to raise pigs. This way, he will increase his profits and earnings. He states that this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of small businesses in the agricultural sector.
