Uzma's story

Financial constraints alongside the want for a better life and good quality education for her 3 children are only a few but valuable factors that encouraged Uzma to start her business selling animals by taking a loan from Kashf Foundation.

Uzma is 21 years old; she is a married woman. She buys animals (baby goats & calves) at low prices, brings them up and then sells them out in the market at higher prices. She makes enough through her business to contribute to the family income. She also sells milk to generate an extra amount of income. She needs to improve her business to bear her household expenses.

For this reason, Uzma contacted Kashf Foundation and applied for a loan of PKR 100,000 to purchase more animals to inflate her sales. She is very experienced and has good contacts in the market. With this loan, she will definitely expand her business and income level.
