Augusto
A loan of $475 helps to purchase new agricultural supplies that will enhance his coffee production.
Augusto's story
Augusto is an experienced farmer from Garzón, Huila, with over 20 years in the field. He manages a two-hectare farm with 4,000 coffee plants, intercropped with plantain trees. To ensure top quality, he fertilizes his crops every four months and divides his coffee into batches for both local consumption and export sales.
Augusto lives with his wife and two children in a house they built near their farm. His wife, also a skilled farmer, plays a key role in supporting him with crop management.
A loan of $1,978,404 COP helps Augusto buy new supplies like organic fertilizers and vitamin supplements for his crops. With these resources, he aims to increase his coffee production.
