Vasenai

Running a grocery shop has allowed Vasenai to cater for her family's needs. Based in the village of Malomalo village, Vasenai's shop provides the villagers with basic food items such canned tuna, noodles, canned meat and other imperishable food items.

While this has helped provide for her family and fellow villagers, Vasenai wishes to expand her business by owning a freezer so that she is also able to sell frozen goods, something that the villagers would otherwise have to travel a long distance to get.

Vasenai says having a freezer would mean that the village children would be able to enjoy having chicken and sausages more often and even some nice ice-pops in the hot Fijian weather! It would also increase income for Vasenai as she is preparing to send her youngest children off to high school.
