Filia's story
This is Filia, who is 45 years old and lives with her spouse and 16-year-old daughter. Her spouse works as a laborer and her daughter is in secondary school. Filia, for her part, works selling spices and sweets with cinnamon, anise, sweet pepper, marshmallow, candied peanuts, and sweet and savory broad beans.
Filia asks for a loan to purchase a stove and supplies such as peanuts, sugar, cacao, and panela. Her idea is to increase production and to enter more into the market in stores within and outside the sector. In the future, she aspires to form a company with these products with her own brand.
