Abishyizehamwe Bisoke Agric Group
A loan of $7,825 helps a member to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers.
Abishyizehamwe Bisoke Agric Group's story
Chriserie is a 40-year-old mother of three children whose ages range from 14 to 20. Her husband is also a farmer, and for the past 20 years, she has been growing Irish potatoes.
Chriserie is the leader of the group named Abishyizehamwe Bisoke Agric, which in English means "Farmers who work together." All of the group members are Irish potato growers.
Chriserie will use her loan to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers. She will then sell her harvest at the marketplace to meet customer demands in the area. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide tuition for her children.
Chriserie is thankful for your support.
