Enrique, who appears on the left, works as a sales executive and is the main person responsible for covering the education costs of his son Santiago, who appears on the right. Santiago studies mechanical engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and has already completed half of his degree program. During the previous cycle, thanks to Kiva support, Santiago could concentrate on his studies, enabling him to keep himself motivated and earn good grades.

Currently, Santiago lives with his parents, but despite the efforts that they make so that Santiago can continue his education, the family's income is not sufficient to cover the total cost of his new cycle of studies, in addition to the materials required for his new courses. This situation has put the continuity of Santiago's studies at risk.

For this reason, Enrique turns to Kiva again in search of a new education loan that will permit Santiago to continue on with his program of studies. Santiago feels relieved by this valuable help and by the affordable installment payments it facilitates for his father Enrique, who no longer feels burdened by making the full monthly payment to the university.

Santiago expresses his gratitude as follows: "I appreciate the support provided, and I hope that this program can continue helping more young people to continue with their studies."
