Santiago's story
Santiago is 64 years old and studied as far as third grade at school. He is married and his wife is a homemaker. His children are no longer dependent on him.
Santiago makes a living from farming. He grows basic grains, in particular sorghum. He has 14 years of experience in this activity, which he learnt from his father.
He travels two kilometres from his home to the plot of land he farms and tends his crops three times a week.
Santiago needs the loan to buy farming supplies like fertiliser and fungicide to manage his sorghum crop.
He intends to carry on working and always support his family.
