Virginia Del Carmen

Virginia Del Carmen's story

Virginia studied up to high school. She is a single mother and has two children who depend on her. She lives with her children.

Virginia has worked for a year preparing and selling atol (corn water) and snacks, an activity she learned from her mother. She sells at home 4 to 6 times per week. Previously, she used to work in farming.

She needs the loan to buy pots, a mixer, ladles and a gas stove, sugar, milk, flour, among more other things. She dreams of having a stall of local snacks in the center of town, and of giving her children an education until they become professionals.
