A loan of $700 helps to buy edible oil, canned goods, noodles and beverages.
Elisa's story
Elisa has run a sari-sari ( variety) store for fifteen years. In front of her house she sells various commodities ranging from noodles, canned goods, soft drinks, sugar, eggs, soap and beverages. Her husband works in a construction. She has three school-aged children.
To cope with demand, and also roll out her capital, she has decided to ask for a loan. She will use it to buy edible oil, canned goods, noodles and beverages.
With the help of this loan she can restock the inventory of her shop and improve her daily income. She is doing her best to continue to manage her current project to become more sustainable in the future.
