Rosa's story
Rosa resides in the province of Leyte. She is 69-years old and single. To earn an income, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store, selling basic commodities. She has been in this business for 15 years.
Now she asks for a loan of PHP 70,000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan for additional capital to buy grocery items to sell in her store.
Rosa dreams of improving her business in the future for a better means of living.
