Martha

Martha, from Honiara, is a 39-year-old married mother with two children. She runs a small shop in her local community. She joined SPBD to gain access to financial services she cannot access through traditional banks.

With her loan she will purchase bales of rice, cartons of noodles, canned tuna and biscuits to expand her inventory. By increasing the variety of products available, she aims to attract more customers and boost her sales, helping her provide a better life for her children and secure a stable future.
