Ngohe Group's story
This group was set up on 2nd November 1995. They work as traders and fatten livestock. They are mutually supportive and have a good relationship with each other.
Fatou, who has her hand raised in the photo, is the group representative. She is a widow and has eight children in her care. She is 67 years old. She sells peanuts, millet and oil. She also fattens livestock: she buys sheep, fattens them and resells them. She gets her supplies from the weekly markets and resells her goods in her town.
She will use her profits to provide for her children's education, food and health.
