Maria Teresa
A loan of $800 helps to purchase frozen goods like squid balls, tempura, hot dogs and sausage.
Maria Teresa's story
Maria Teresa has been engaged in retail sales of frozen goods for five years. She sells tempura ( a dish that usually consists of fried seafood and vegetables that have been coated in a thin batter), fish balls, sausage, hot dogs, ham and "lumpia" (spring roll).
She is a married woman and has two dependent children, ages 13 and 15. Her spouse works as a mason and carpenter.
To continue to improve her quality of life, she has decided to avail a loan. She will use it to purchase frozen goods like squid balls, tempura, hot dogs and sausage.
With the help of this loan, she can re-stock the inventory in her shop and improve her daily income. She is doing her best to continue to manage her current project to become more sustainable in the future.
