Harriet's story

Harriet is a resident of a rural area in Lujjula Sembabule.

She is married to Robert and they are blessed with 3 schoolgoing children.

She has a boutique business where she sells ready made children's clothes and ladies dresses. She has been in this business for 5 years and she has been able to supplement her family's income. She has been concentrating on supporting medical care for her children and buying food. Her husband pays school fees and for accommodation.

However, she faces the challenge of high taxes and limited funds to expand her business. She has requested a loan for funds worth 8,000,000 UGX to buy more boys shorts, t-shirts, girls dresses, pijamas and ladies dresses.

She hopes her revenue will improve and that she will be able to retain some earnings after taxes.

Thank you funders.
